Designer City: Empire Edition is a new installment in this popular city management game saga. In this case, the main difference from the previous titles is that your city is set in the Roman era. You have to build streets, houses, public services, monuments, parks, energy sources, and more.
The gameplay in Designer City: Empire Edition is very similar to the classic SimCity and other games like it. In other words, you get to freely build the city of your dreams, without any sorts of restrictions. That said, to construct all the buildings and infrastructures, you need money. To get money, you have to give your inhabitants jobs. And of course, in order to work, they need someplace to live first.
In Designer City: Empire Edition, you'll find hundreds of different buildings, including tons of different types of dwellings, various types of factories, hospitals, markets, flower shops, and monuments. Each building will give you a series of benefits, so you have to make sure you make a plan before building. Likewise, each building needs to be accessible from the road, so if you're not careful, you might isolate entire areas of your city.
Designer City: Empire Edition offers a similar experience to the previous titles from the franchise, but with a unique setting. The game has beautiful graphics, similar to 90's strategy games and is inevitably reminiscent of the Caesar saga.
